Block M is an exposed, wind-swept mesa on Melville's Santa Rita Hills vineyard. Vines grow in botella clay (low nutrient, vines struggle, grapes get strong). 80% whole cluster ferment, neutral oak aged. A "masculine" Pinot Noir that's as much about mouth feel as flavor. Wild cherry, firm tannins, acidity. Built to last. 2023-'28 best drinking. 600 cases made
