Cotes du Rhone. All Syrah from Visan in the Northern Rhone Valley. Fruit destemmed, indigenous yeast, cement tank ferment and aged. Deep dark color, smell & taste boysenberries, blueberries, black pepper, bacon, black olive. Reminds us of Northern Rhone Syrah more than Southern with its spice/olive/meaty character. "Petit Ours" is "Little Bear."
