Matthiasson Vermouth #3

The base wine is made from Flora- a cross of Semillon and Gewurztraminer-from both the 2014 and 15 vintages.  Up to 170g/L of residual sugar was still in the wine when fermentation was complete.  Blood orange, sour cherry,cardoon, chinchona bark, wormwood, and blessed thistle to make the juice even richer.  This is a full, sweet vermouth, complex with aromas of dried herbs, orange peel, marmalade, and brown sugar.
