Matthiasson Linda Vista Vineyard Chardonnay Napa Valley 2021

Oak Knoll District vineyard, just north of Napa town. Lower alcohol at 12.5%, whole cluster pressed to showcase the fruit, neutral barrel ferment & aged for texture. Definitely crisp, yet rounded style. Two-fifths of the wine under goes malo-lactic fermentation to round out the lively flavors of lemon zest, yellow peaches, honey, and casaba melon. Pleases both the buttery palate and the un-oaked drinker.
