Matthiasson Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2014

Steve Matthiasson’s Cabernets are cut from a different cloth than most of his Napa neighbors: light(er)-bodied, refreshing and vibrant. Fruit from Oak Knoll, Coombsville and Rutherford, all farmed by Steve. Get ripe cherries, boysenberries, bramble, cedar, pencil lead and just the right amount of “greenness.” Fine tannins and bright acidity makes this just sing with fatty foods. Decant or watch it develop over the course of a meal.
