Massican "Hyde" Chardonnay Napa Valley 2022

Hailing from the legendary Hyde Vineyard in Carneros, grown in a cool climate preserving the acidity of the grapes. Many of the most famous Chardonnay producers have sourced from Larry Hyde and the results in the hands of Dan Petroski is Chardonnay at its finest. Lots of citrus with lemon, lemon curd, tart pineapple and some herb aromas. The use of wood is present but the firm structure and acidic backbone prevent the oak from stealing too much of the spotlight.
