Masseria Cuturi Tuma 1881 Primitivo de Salento 2020

Located on the heel of Italy’s boot, Salento is the homeland of Zinfandel’s less flashy and more svelte cousin, Primitivo. Surrounded by the Ionian and Adriatic seas, the wine captures aromas of clay and oceanic breezes. Roasted chestnuts, cherries, plums, cedar box and savory herbs are rustic but refined, with acidity which is kept transparent due to stainless steel vinification. The grape, the soil and the environment are all captured in this wine.
