Mas Martinet by Sara Perez “Menut” Priorat 2020

Sara Perez is part of a new breed of Priorat winemakers, though not new to the scene, she focuses on biodynamics and never being confined in a box. This is a blend of 40% Grenache, 20% Carignan, 30% Syrah and 10% Merlot, fermented in concrete and aged in large neutral barrels. A softer side of the region shows dark fruits of black cherry, licorice, blackberries, herbs, tobacco and bitter chocolate.  Dark and brooding with well-balanced tannins.
