Margerum Late Harvest Viognier 2014
Small block of Viognier in the sunniest spot in the vineyard, picked at 40 Brix and whole-cluster pressed to tank for a long, slow, cool fermentation. Fermentation naturally ceased at 11.7% ABV. The result is a plethora of ripe, viscous tropical fruit: taste pineapple, guava, mango, and banana, along with exotic spices, vanilla, and overripe peaches. Zippy acid keeps it fresh and bright. 198g/l residual sugar.
