90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Historic St. Helena property dating back to the nineteenth century, which has recently been revived with the aim of making the highest-quality Napa wine. Besides the owner Mauricio Marciano, Andy Erikson, Michelle Rolland, and winemaker Morgan Maureze are all involved in fulfilling this ambition. 2015 is just the fourth vintage, and is truly outstanding: rich and lush, as a wine from that wam vintage should be, with complex aromas of cassis, blackberry, and black plum layered with mocha, star anise, sarsaparilla, and licorice followed by a very smooth palate and a long, beautifully integrated finish. 258 cases made.
