The Martinenga bottling is from a single 11.93 hectares vineyard owned by the Marchesi di Gresy family since 1797. It borders the more famous Asili cru with a similar command and elegance. Red cherries, dried roses, stewed fruits, orange citrus and lovely tannins. A great vintage, showing all of the top qualities of Barbaresco with both intensity and a softness that embraces the entire palate. An instant classic.
