Malat Steinbuhel Riesling Kremstal 2013

9th-generation winery going back to 1722, specializing in single-vineyard expressions of Kremstal. This comes from the Steinbühel vineyard, its name meaning stony hill – indicating soil and exposition ideal for Riesling, making it even more intense and ageworthy than usual. Aged for 6-8 months in 2,000 liter oak barrels, there are concentrated aromas of smoke, petrol, and lime zest, with fresh acidity and a weighty palate for the perfect balance between freshness and maturity.
