Maitre de Chai Chenin Blanc 2016

From one of our favorite up-and-coming young producers comes this fabulous Chenin Blanc from the organically-farmed Kierkegaard vineyard in Dry Creek Valley planted in 1981. It’s barrel fermented with native yeasts and aged in oak – but all used. Aromas of roasted almonds, biscuit, beeswax, peach, and apricot with a creamy but gripping mouthfeel. Very fresh on its own or to be drunk with seafood.
