Maison Roche de Bellene Bourgogne Rouge Vieilles Vignes 2017

The average age for the vines is 45-55 years planted organically in clay and limestone. Finished in mostly matured barriques and some stainless steel, there is a great combination of earth, oak, and pureness in this wine. The color is translucent ruby, but the light color does not mean light flavors. The oak barrels lend the wine flavors of baked cherries and baking spices while preserving the meaty, mushroom and savory herbs. Topped off with fresh cranberry and sloeberry notes
