Maison Roche de Bellene Bourgogne Rouge 2020

The entry-level red Burgundy comes from vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The vines range in age from 30 to 80 years and are farmed sustainably upon beds of limestone and clay. Aromatically the wine bright is with cranberries, brambly raspberries, and a hint of baking spices. On the palate the acidity is light and the tannins are young but well integrated, with barely ripened red fruits and a subtle note of damp top soil.
