The Madrigal family farms hundreds of Napa Valley acres as well as making their own wines. Their Petite Sirah is pretty special, and a relative steal of a price, to boot. Popeye-strong flavors yet with smooth, suave tannins. Teeth-staining concentration. Black & blue fruits, black pepper, violets, licorice, frame of toasty oak (not too much). A classic Petite Sirah...just not tannic.
