From the newest producer on the island and the first and only all-female winery, this is a great introduction to madeira, the approachable, entry-level equivalent of Verdelho. It’s rich and aromatic, with aromas of orange peel, honey, pepper, vanilla, curry, dried fruits, and fudge, while the high acidity and rich sweetness (67g/L) are perfectly balanced, neither sticking out.
