50% Bical, 25% Sercealinho, 20% Cerceal. Luis Pato is one of the mavericks of Portuguese wine, single-handedly reviving the Bairrada region under whose name he now refuses to bottle his wine. Sercealinho is a variety only found on his and his daughter’s properties, while Cerceal is in the blend for its crisp acidity which is apparent on the palate. There’s also a grainy, mineral texture rounded out with an almond, doughy feel, with citrus and apple aromas and a long finish.
