Louis Roederer Blanc de Blancs Champagne 2011
SKU

2011 was a difficult year for champagne, but chardonnay did well, and as usual, great houses make great wine in bad years. The 2011 was made from the two grand crus Le Mesnil sur Oger and Avize, which were picked a little later, with 30% fermented in oak. This resulted in a biscuity, brioche richness that is a dream to sip. Flavors of meyer lemon and pear are highlighted by an elegant mousse texture. This bubbly is all about finesse, polish, and grace.
