Leymarie-Ceci “Cuvee Andrew” Bourgogne Rouge 2020

After over a year of searching, we finally found a red Burgundy with the perfect balance, heavily leaning into the earth characteristics that define the region. Smoky wet soil, mushrooms, roasted brisket, plums and earl grey tea are brightened by a little red cherry. A brushing of fruit crosses the palate with more leather and gamey flavors following, topped off with a little barrel influence. All of this for a crazy “low” price.
