Le P'Tit Paysan Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Mostly 45-year-old vines from Central Coast, for a superb, old-school Cabernet Sauvignon from SF Chronicle winemaker of the year Ian Brand. This is a cooler-climate style, less about the fruit – crunchy blackcurrants and cherries – and more the structure, with herbaceous, cassis aromas and a lean, grainy, mouthwatering palate. Classic California Cab, and extremely food friendly – think lamb or beef.
