Muscadet is known for the neutral aromas of its wines, but more of the top producers are ageing the wines for considerable periods of time to add intensity and concentration while naturally maintaining high acidity. This wine, which comes from 80-year-old vines, is aged for 31 months on the lees in cement tanks. Aromas of lees, toast, biscuit, white pepper, smoke, and petrol, with piercing acidity. Intense, and to be drunk with seafood.
