From Snipes Mountain, an AVA within Yakima Valley, Washington. From "Upland Vineyard," a steep, rolling vineyard full of gravel and ancient riverbed sand (meager, well-draining soils). Low yielding (2.7 tons/acre), half whole cluster ferment. Neutral oak aged. Great expression of concentrated Grenache with dark strawberries, black & white pepper, black tea, dry herbs & black olive. Silky. 374 cases made.
