Lacourte Godbillon Mi-Pentes Extra-Brut Champagne NV

“MI-PENTES”

The Mi-Pentes expression is 100% Pinot Noir from the mid-slope vineyards in the village of Ecueil. A blend of 70% 2017 and 30% 2015 with 45% of the blend seeing barrel ferment, no malo, and a 1.5-gram dosage. A touch of yellow color is expressed in the glass, indicating weight and barrel contact, in turn providing structure to hold the massive complexities of the wine. Peach, nectarine, red fruits and yellow fruits have a chalky intensity and a racy elegance.
