La Pitchoune Van der Kamp Vineyard Pinot Noir Sonoma Mountain 2014

On the eastern side of Sonoma Mountain, Van der Kamp has been farmed continually for over one hundred years. At 300-400m, the vines sit above the frost line subject to two fog banks moving up opposite sides of the vineyard from the Petaluma gap and the bay. Aromas of ripe raspberries, white flowers, blood orange, and smoked meats on the nose with chewy tannins and a mineral-laced finish. 98 cases made.
