La Miraja Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato 2022

The vineyard source for this is located within the walls of a castle in Monferrato with its holdings claiming to the oldest vines of Ruche in the world. An absolutely pretty nose of Christmas spices with roses, blood-orange, cardamom, cinnamon, white pepper and something like hibiscus. Light red fruits with strawberry, cherry, and pomegranate with a delicate palate that packs a punch like a bantam-weight boxer. Only 800 cases made annually.
