All fruit from Matthew Rorick’s (Forlorn Hope) vineyard near Murphys, in the Sierra Foothills. Whole cluster, foot tread, native yeast, minimal SO2. Smell and taste dried cranberry, plum, orange peel, mulling spices, dried herbs, black tea, mineral, leather and black pepper. Medium-bodied, healthy acidity. Co-fermented with 6% Albarino. 1st release. 355 cases made.
