French poet and novelist Colette once described wines made from the Petit Manseng grape as seduction du vert galant (“the seductive green playboy.”) It’s easy to see why: intense flavors and aromas of lemon curd, mandarin zest, guava and key lime. Medium-bodied, racy acidity. All-natural winemaking: no chemical additions, light foot tread, no fining/filtration (hence the cloudiness) fermentations proceed on their own schedule. Delicious and unique!
