L’Envolee Wines Chenin Blanc Napa Carneros 2023

The grapes come from a mere three rows of vines planted in Napa Carneros, adding to a scant 21 acres total of Chenin Blanc officially reported for Napa County. The young vines produce an intense wine with tart green apples, crisp pears and a nice balance of creamy characteristics from partial malolactic fermentation. Further notes of stone fruits, jasmine and lime zest ride a streak of acidity, with a zippy character that promises many more years of enjoyment.
