Ktima Spiropoulos Moschofilero Mantinia Peloponnese 2020

Moschofilero often makes quaffable, yet expressive wines for pennies on the dollar, but when it’s at its best, the wine is rich with herbs and heavily aromatic. Spiropoulos was established in 1870 in Mantinia, one of the coolest regions in Greece. The cool temperatures preserve the acidity, showing grapefruit, pomelo, thyme, crushed oyster shells and flowers. There is a distinct and pleasant weight to the acidity.
