Krater Cellars Chenin Blanc Monterey 2015

Sandy hillside vineyard south of Salinas, where wind and fog from Monterey Bay keep the vines nice and cool. Classic Chenin notes of bruised apples, nectarine, honeysuckle, and orange blossom. Nervy and linear with racy acid (7.8g/L). Partial ML and a warm, sunny vintage lend the wine roundness and depth. Just 90 cases made.
