Kivelstadt "Wayward Son" Orange Marsanne Mendocino 2019

Wayward Son is a skin fermented, single vineyard 100% Marsanne from Mendocino County. It’s dorky and interesting enough to fulfill and intrigue the most experimental taster, but has a low phenolic extraction and won't scare away an orange first timer.  The wine has the flavor profile of white wine with the texture of a red wine making it extremely food friendly and fun to share.  Open this bottle and let it oxidize over a few weeks while flavors develop and change, always adding new layers.
