50/50 Marsanne/Roussanne from Mendocino, spending 6 months on the lees in neutral oak barrels to give a lightly creamy texture. This isn’t a fruit bomb – instead it’s all about the texture and structure: waxy and nutty with attractive floral, citrus, and stone fruit aromas with a rich weight to the wine that’s perfectly balanced by the acidity and aromatics coming from the Roussanne. Serve lightly chilled with bouillabaisse.
