Kiralyudvar Pezsgo Henye Sparkling Tokaji Hungary 2018

A blend of roughly 70% Furmint and 30% Hárslevelű, the wine spends just over three years on its lees. It’s kind of everything you would expect from a sparkling Tokaji, with honeyed fruit aromas, clementine oranges, dried orange peels and pastries. A touch of sweetness provides weight and a waxy texture, but the acidity is right there, providing a little lift to the richness of the wine. Move over Sekt, this wine takes it to the next level.
