Kanpai "Hi No Tori" Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Rose 2017

“Rosé made from Napa Cabernet Sauvignon?” we hear you ask. Yep, you read it right. This is the first release from a brand-new winery, the wine made by Steve Matthiasson. An attractive deep salmon color, with herbal, floral aromas on the nose and strawberries, red cherries, and blackcurrants, followed by a lightly creamy palate and very refreshing acidity. A rosé with some substance and character, but still easy to sip on. All proceeds go to Napa Fire Relief.
