Kamen Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 2013

Super-delicious Cabernet from the mountains west of Napa (up Mt Veeder and down the other side a bit, across the county line). Local winemaker Mark Herold crafts a spicy, rich, dark berry/cherry-driven Cabernet with toasty oak, violets, chocolate malt, mocha, boysenberry, and pipe tobacco smells and flavors. Great by itself, even better with at an Argentinean steak house. Drink anytime. Seriously...tannins are smooth, the wine is showing great.
