Jurtschitsch Terrassen Grüner Veltliner Osterreich Austria 2019

Made in a bit of a reductive manner with miso-like aromas and flinty minerality.  Very much a terroir driven wine with wet rock, dried apricots, and hints of washed-rind cheese giving off aromas that are typically reserved for much more pricy Grüner.  Stone fruits, grapefruit, and salty acidity emphasizes the cool-climate fruit grown on the steep mountainsides.  Lean and mean with a creamy streak providing weight and texture.
