Josef Leitz Riesling Rudesheimer "Klosterlay" Kabinett, Rheingau 2014

From Germany's Rheingau region where Leitz is one of the stars wineries, making fruit-forward Rieslings with more "mouth feel" than most German producers (ageing on the lees does the trick). Smell and taste a basket of fresh apples, sweet grapefruit, fresh pears and Meyer lemons. Tingles the tongue with its bright fruit and acidity. We give it a 2 on our 1 to 10 sweetness scale.
