Jolie Laide Melon Rodnick Farm Chalone 2019

Situated just beneath an extinct volcano with decomposed granite and limestone soils at 1800 feet elevation with a coastal influence. Picked early to preserve natural acidity, whole cluster pressed to concrete eggs where it underwent spontaneous fermentation and subsequent 6 month sur lie elevage.  A wine which is a little bit weighty with lemon verbena, crushed oyster shells, jackfruit, golden grapefruit and mouthwatering acidity.
