Johanneshof Reinisch St. Laurent Niederosterreich Austria 2019

From a house that was established in 1923, this is a stellar example of high-quality St. Laurent, showcasing the grape’s Pinot Noir-like weight and ripe fruit. A small portion of whole-cluster is included and a combination of large Stockinger and 500 liter French barrels tie everything together. Plums, barely ripe blackberries, blue fruits and hints of wet rocks.  Absolutely delicious in its balance, depth and enjoyability.
