Jean Philippe Fichet Auxey-Duresses Blanc 2022

Composed of two parcels of old-vines from the lieux-dits Nampoillon and Largillas grown in clay-limestone soils.  An extended elevage of 12 months in a combination of wood barrels followed by 6 months in stainless steel allows the wine to settle. Aromas of green apples, lemongrass, some light floral notes and a tinge of petrol. Medium body with lots of minerality. Good complexity, long finish. Flavors of green apple, chamomile tea, white blossoms, and lemon zest.
