Jean Claude Lapalu “Ce Blanc” Beaujolais Blanc 2021

Jean-Claude is an O.G natty boy and the decades of experience have led to wines that are clean and often mistaken for fresh and vibrant conventional wines. This is from a small amount of Chardonnay grown on the estate at the base of Mont Brouilly, in Beaujolais. An underpinning flavor of mashed apples, pears, loquat and baking spice. An overall pithy quality is found with bitter citrus and a of pine nut oxidation giving this wine a breadth of flavors and textures.
