Jax Vineyards "Y3 - Taureau Red" Napa Valley 2015

50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 5% Zinfandel. Named after the family’s legendary prize bull, this Napa blend has a similar weight and kick to it. Made by Kirk Venge, whose wines are known for their boldness, there are ripe, juicy black fruit aromas of cherries and plums with tarragon and black pepper on the palate, all held together with a firm tannic balance. Big, bold, and very drinkable.
