Jacquesson Cuvee 741 NV

50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir, 25% Meunier. The Cuvée 700 series is all about expressing both terroir and the vintage – the wine changes with each release, rather than being a consistent house blend. The base for 741 is 2013, showing a subtly developing maturity of roasted almonds, biscuit, and mushrooms but still incredibly fresh with high acidity and a dry, lean, linear palate filled out with a creamy texture and red apples. Intense and ageworthy.
