“Naggiar Vineyard”

Labeled Barbera, but there is a sizable portion of Sangiovese (25%) in here and it works wonders. Grown at 1300 feet in the Sierra Foothilsls, the two grapes, amalgamate through co-fermentation and 20 months of barrel aging to show characteristics that seem to be distinctly Italian. Black cherries and herbs, dark plums, chocolate and a silky-smooth mid-palate.  Rich and plush with structured tannins and juicy acidity.
