Isole e Olena Chianti Classico 2020

80% Sangiovese, 15% Canaiolo, 5% Syrah. Isole e Olena – named after two adjoining estates – have emerged since the 1960s as one of Chianti’s top, most consistent estates. This is excellent Chianti Classico, drawing on the traditions of the region with some subtle modern touches: aromas of plums and sour cherries, smoke, oak, and spice, with grainy, lightly chewy tannins and very lively acidity.
