"California's first Galician-style red blend," reports owner/winemaker Willi Sherrer. Blend is 65% Souzao (Ukiah vineyard) then Garnacha, Tempranillo and Carignan (Central Coast & Sonoma vineyards). Deep, dark rich color. Smell and taste boysenberries, dark blueberries, black licorice, mincemeat, soy sauce, chopped fresh thyme, cocoa. Gentle tannins, medium acidity. Unique yet still has broad appeal. 300 cases made.
