I Brand Mourvedre Lime Kiln Valley 2016

Lime Kiln Valley is a tiny AVA next to Mount Harlan which has just one vineyard called Enz, which this wine is made from. It’s mainly planted to 90-year-old Mourvèdre vines, the quality of which is attracting top winemakers like Ian Brand. This is Mourvèdre at its best, bright and grainy, made with whole-cluster fermentation for a crunchy, spicy texture with a core of black fruits rounded out by chewy tannins. Irresistible.
