From Lee Hudson's awesome vineyard on Highway 12 in the Carneros. One of California's best Chardonnays, this is rich, layered, creamy, tangy and intense. Smell and taste fresh pineapple drizzled with honey, lemon custard, peach puree, baked pears, roast almonds and hazelnuts, toasted and buttered croissants, fresh cream. 14 months in 60% French oak. Has both exceptional richness and a nice crisp, extremely long finish.
