Hudson Vineyards Estate Grown Chardonnay Carneros 2015

From Lee Hudson's awesome vineyard on Highway 12 in the Carneros. One of California's best Chardonnays, this is rich, layered, creamy, tangy and strong. Smell and taste fresh pineapple drizzled with honey, lemon custard, peach puree, baked pears, roast almonds and hazelnuts, toasted and buttered croissants, fresh cream. Has both exceptional richness and a nice little "tang." Great match with buttery lobster, crab and scallops.
